  • Billing Information: Payment transactions, invoices, and payment confirmations. Note that full credit card data is securely handled directly by our PCI-compliant payment gateways.
  • Usage Details: IP address, device type, operating system, browser specifications, pages visited, and portal session timestamps.

  • Sending transactional updates, course announcements, and support communications.
  • Analyzing platform usage trends to optimize website performance and improve student experience.

We utilize SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmissions, secure password hashing algorithms (bcrypt) for user login protection, and access-controlled servers hosting the SQLite database. Access to your student profile is restricted to authorized personnel who need the information to perform academic support.

Johnson School does not sell or lease student information to marketing brokers. We share data only with third-party systems required to run the portal, including:

  • Payment gateway vendors for processing enrollment fees.
  • Email service providers to deliver student notifications.
  • Relevant regulatory education boards in Cambodia (upon academic accreditation requirements).

Under general data protection practices, students (or parents of minor students) have the following rights regarding their information:

  • Right to review the personal data we store about you in our portal databases.
  • Right to request updates, corrections, or edits to any outdated or inaccurate profile details.
  • Right to request the deletion of your account and related records, subject to regulatory student retention laws.

7. Children's Privacy

For students under the age of 18 enrolled in our Khmer General Education or language programs, account registration and payment agreements must be executed under the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
