1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Johnson School (operated by Johnson School). By accessing or using our website, courses, and portal systems, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not access or use our services.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (whether as a student, parent, instructor, or visitor) and Johnson School. Please review them periodically for updates.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise stated, Johnson School and/or its licensors own all intellectual property rights for the materials, curriculum details, videos, handouts, quizzes, code files, and graphics published on Johnson School.
You are granted a limited license for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. You must not:
- Republish, sell, or rent any curriculum material from our site.
- Reproduce, duplicate, or copy study guides or lecture videos.
- Redistribute course resources or materials outside our digital portal.
3. User Registration & Accounts
To access certain courses, programs, or the student dashboard, you must register for an account. When creating your account, you must provide accurate, current, and complete information.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (email and password) and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breaches.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information, violate academic honesty, or exhibit suspicious behavior.
4. Academic Integrity & Code of Conduct
Johnson School is committed to fostering a supportive, safe, and academically honest environment. Users agree to abide by the following conduct rules:
- Do not cheat, plagiarize, or assist others in committing academic dishonesty.
- Respect fellow students, instructors, and staff. Bullying, harassment, or hate speech will not be tolerated.
- Do not upload files containing malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt the operation of the portal.
- Do not attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or perform load tests on the Johnson School server infrastructure.
5. Course Fees, Billing, & Refunds
Enrollment in specific premium courses (such as GEP English, HSK Chinese, or IELTS prep classes) may require payment of enrollment fees.
All fees are billed in US Dollars ($) and are payable using the supported campus payment systems or online gateways. Course fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the term unless an installment plan has been explicitly approved by the school admin.
Refund Policy: Refunds are granted on a case-by-case basis. Full refunds are available if a request is made at least 7 days before the course start date. Partial refunds of 50% are available during the first week of the course. No refunds will be issued after the second week of a term.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
Our educational services, courses, and portal software are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied. While we strive to maintain uninterrupted service, Johnson School does not warrant that the site will be error-free or that access will be continuous.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Johnson School shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, our courses, portal platforms, or study materials.
7. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 15 days' notice on the dashboard or via email prior to any new terms taking effect.
By continuing to access or use our services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
